Gaby & German wünschten sich neben den Familienfotos mit ihren zwei Töchtern – siehe auch Blogpost https://blog.projectphoto.ch/familienfotoshooting-in-island-familyphotoshoot-in-iceland-projectphoto-ch/ ganz besondere Paarfotos von Ihnen zweien.
Die beiden sind schon länger ein „Dream-Team“ und Eltern zweier wundervoller Töchter aber erst seit zwei Jahren offiziell verheiratet und ausser ihren Hochzeitsfotos und einem Paarfotoshooting zu ihrem ersten Hochzeitsjubiläum existieren nicht all zu viele Paarfotos von den Beiden, denn meistens stehen die zwei – wie wir auch nicht vor sondern hinter der Kamera – im wunderschönen Mexiko sind die beiden Hochzeitfotografen:)) Für uns war es etwas ganz besonderes und natürlich eine echte Herausforderung Fotografen und noch dazu Hochzeitsfotografen vor unserer Kamera zu haben. Selbstverständlich haben wir uns für die Beiden besonders „ins Zeug gelegt“ und gezaubert und Island hat dabei den Rest erledigt.
Gaby hatte extra ein weisses Kleid – beziehungsweise sehr weise für Island – einen weissen Rock in Kombination mit einem weissen, dickeren Pulli (und einen extra weiten & lange weisse Daunenmantel)mit in ihr Urlaubsgepäck für Island eingepackt und so konnten wir für die Beiden ein „wedding anniversary & Hochzeitsjubiläums-Fotoshooting“ und auch irgendwie ein Fotoshooting, welches sich ganz nach einen „elopement styled photoshoot“ anfühlte, nicht nur die weisse Kleidung von Gaby sondern vorallem durch die Emotionen welche bei unserem Paar vor der Kamera aufkamen trotz der sehr kalten Temperaturen um die 10 Grad Celcius in einmaliger Kulisse durchführen. Der isländische Wind spielte Pate und so brauchten wir noch nicht einmal eine Windmaschine umd Gaby’s Haare zerzausen zu lassen.
Unser Elopement Styled Shooting fand in wie auch das Familienfotoshooting zuvor in Reykjanesviti statt, ganz am Ende der wunderbaren Reykjanes Halbinsel welche nur ca 1 Stunde Fahrzeit von der isländischen Hauptstadt Reykjavik entfernt ist.
Reykjanesskagi ist eine stiefelförmige Halbinsel im äußersten Südwesten von Island, südwestlich der Hauptstadt Reykjavík. Der Name bedeutet Reykjanes-Halbinsel, wobei Reykjanes (deutsch „Rauchspitze“ oder „Rauchhalbinsel“) heutzutage meist nur die äußerste Südwestspitze, gewissermaßen die Ferse des Stiefels bezeichnet.
Über Island verläuft die Grenze zweier sich mit einer Geschwindigkeit von über 2 cm im Jahr voneinander entfernenden Kontinentalplatten, der eurasischen und der amerikanischen Platte. Reykjanes liegt direkt auf dieser Grenze. Man sagt, hier käme der Mittelatlantische Rücken an Land, eine Zone der Plattenverschiebungen und gleichzeitig des aktiven Vulkanismus.[1] Was erklärt, dass es sich um den buchstäblich heißesten Ort Islands zu handeln scheint; unter dem ZentralvulkanGunnuhver wurden in 1.000 m Tiefe 300 °C gemessen.[2]

The two are already a „Dream Team“ and parents of two wonderful daughters but only officially married for two years now and apart from their wedding photos and a couple photo shoot for their first wedding anniversary, there are not too many couple photos of the two existing, because usually the two are not in front but behind the camera – in beautiful Mexico, the two are wedding photographers :)) For us, it was something very special and of course a real challenge to have photographers and especially wedding photographers in front of our camera. Of course we bounced ourselves for the two and performed magic and Iceland did the rest for us.
Gaby had specially a white dress with her on her iceland trip – and very wise of this cold & windy country – a long white skirt combined with a thick white sweater (and an extra wide & long white down coat) and so we did a “ wedding anniversary & wedding anniversary photoshoot „and also somehow a photoshoot, which felt like a“ elopement styled photoshoot „, not only because of Gaby’s white outfit but due to the due emotions awakening in front of the camera despite the very cold temperatures of only to 10 degrees Celcius in a very unique setting. The Icelandic wind was the godfather, so we did not even need a wind machine to ruffle Gaby’s hair.
Our Elopement Styled Shooting took place in Reykjanesviti in the same way as the family photo shoot, at the very end of the wonderful Reykjanes peninsula which is only about 1 hour drive from the Icelandic capital Reykjavik.
Reykjanesskagi is a boot-shaped peninsula in the extreme southwest of Iceland, southwest of the capital Reykjavík. The name means Reykjanes peninsula, with Reykjanes (German „smoke peak“ or „smoke pen“) nowadays usually only the extreme southwestern tip, effectively called the heel of the boot.
The border of two continental plates, the Eurasian plate and the American plate, which cross each other at a speed of more than 2 cm per year, runs over Iceland. Reykjanes is right on this border. It is said that the Mid-Atlantic Ridge lands here, a zone of plate shifting and active volcanism at the same time. [1] Which explains that it seems to be the literally hottest place in Iceland; under the central volcanoGunnuhver 300 ° C were measured in 1,000 m depth.
