Eine Hochzeit zu zweit, eine intime Trauung mit ein paar Familienmitgliedern und Freunden an einem Wasserfall in Island oder einfach auch nur ein Fotoshooting während Eurer Ferien auf der Insel? Eigentlich kein Problem, nur die bekannten und „Instagram-gehypten Wasserfälle“ besonders im Süden Islands sind eben auch sehr sehr bliebt und diese werdet ihr kaum für Euch alleine haben.
Ihr müsst diese in der Regel – zu den Hauptzeiten tagsüber – mit den Bus-Ladungen an Touristen aus Reykjavik teilen. Aber keine Angst Island ist generell noch nicht so überlaufen wie viele andere Tourismus Destinationen aber eben es gibt durchaus auf der Insel einige Sightseeing-Highlights aka „Must-See-Orte“ welche für „isländische Verhältnisse“ sehr gut besucht sind.
Aus dem Weg gehen könnt ihr in Island den Touristenstörmen aber dennoch sehr gut, den es gibt unzählige Wasserfälle (und andere sehr schöne Orte) welche noch weitestgehend unbekannt sind.
„Land“ ist in Island generell privat bzw gehört immer irgendwem so auch die Wasserfälle – wollt ihr nur ganz privat einen Wasserfall für Euch ist dies überhaupt kein Problem gilt es hierfür nur die Erlaubnis – «Permission» – des jeweiligen Besitzers einzuholen – unser lokaler Hochzeitsplaner Pink Iceland – hilft Euch hierbei sehr gerne weiter.
Anbei seht ihr einen solchen «geheimen» Wasserfall im Süden welcher sich hervorragend für Eure ganz private Zeremonie oder Euer Fotoshooting eignet – allenfalls kommen noch ein paar Islandpferde vorbei (denn dem Wasserfall Besitzer gehört auch ein Islandpferde-Reitstall) aber das wäre ja nicht wirklich störend oder im Gegenteil oder?

A wedding for two, an itimate wedding with a few family members an friends at a waterfall in Iceland or just a photo shoot during your holidays on the island? No problem at all, but you will be probably be not alone at one of the well-known and „Instagram-hyped waterfalls“ in the south of Iceland .
You usually have to share them with Reykjavik’s busloads during the peak of the day. But don’t worry Icelnd is not in general over crowed as many other tourism destinations are but there are quite a few sightessing highlights on the island aka „must-seen places“ which are vers well-frequented for „icelandic conditions“.
But the good news is that you can easily sty out of the way of the tourist „crowds“ as there are countless waterfalls (and other very beautiful places) which are still largely unknown.
„Land“ in Iceland generally belongs to someone and is therefore „private“ -even waterfalls, rivers, lakes are private. To stay at your own private waterfall is therefore not a problem at all in Iceland, you only need the „permission“ by the its owner. Enclosed you can see such a „secret“ waterfall at the south coast of Iceland near the ring road which is a prefect fit for your very own privat ceremony of photo shoot – if necessary, some icelandic horses will pass by (because the owner of the waterfall is also the owner of an nearby icelandic horse riding stable) but this would not be really annoying for your guys or what do you think? So you even get images with islandic horses or could easily pet them.
And if the icelandic weather does not play along as it should, there is an equally private cave at the beach in about 1 hour distance of the waterfall where you can keep your ceremony dry. We will present you this cave in another blog post soon.
