Part 3 unserer Serie – „raus aus der Komfortzone“ – from photographers to models – oder auch „Rollentausch“ – für einmal standen wir – Vanessa & Stephan vor der Kamera anstatt uns dahinter zu verstecken, denn wir wollten a) einmal nachempfinden wie es denn so ist für Euch, wenn ihr vor unserer Kamera steht und wir Euch Anweisungen geben. Würden wir dies auch so gut, schnell, präzise umsetzen können, wir ihr das in der Regel tut? Wie würde sich das für uns anfühlen?
und b) hatten wir es einfach endgültig satt immer Selfies von uns an schönen Orten zu produzieren oder das nur mal wieder einer von uns auf dem Foto drauf ist weil der andere es ja fotografieren muss
und c) waren wir ja nicht nur für unsere „Betriebsferien“ nach Island gekommen sondern auch zum Arbeiten, warum dann nicht einmal die Rollen tauschen und von Fotografen zu Models werden? Zumal es seit unseren eigenen Hochzeitsfotos keine professionellen Paarfotos mehr von uns erstellt worden sind
Und so kam es zu gleich „fünf“ ganz verschiedenen Fotoshootings – ihr seht wir haben Blut geleckt – nur 2 davon waren am Anfang geplant, die anderen haben sich irgendwie auf dem Weg nach Island ergeben und auch wenn wir erst etwas überfordert von dem Ganzen waren, das es derart „ausgeartet“ ist sind wir jetzt im Nachhineau sehr froh und dankbar über wundervolle Fotos in der wunderbaren Kulisse Islands.
Zudem war es für uns sehr interessant, spannend unsere „Berufskollegen“ hautnah zu erleben, ihre Tricks, ihre Herangehensweise und ihren Umgang mit uns „Models“ und dies mit unserer Art zu vergleichen – unweigerlich – und wieder einmal dazu zu lernen, neues, unbekanntes zu Erleben. Besonders gespannt waren wir natürlich auf die jeweiligen Ergebnisse – ganz genauso wie ihr es seit wenn ihr uns bei einem Fotoshooting oder an Eurer Hochzeit erlebt habt und Euch dann nicht so ganz genau vorstellen könnt was „da am Ende herauskommen wird“ und was ihr als Ergebnisse von uns erhaltet werdet. Ganz genauso ging es uns auch und auch das war eine sehr spannende Erfahrung.

Part 3 of our series – „out of the comfort zone“ – from photographers to models – or „role reversal“ for once we – Vanessa & Stephan – stood in front of the camera instead of hiding behind us, because we wanted to a) recreate how it is for you, if you stand in front of our camera and we give you instructions. Would we be able to do this so well, quickly, accurately, and we usually do that? How would that feel to us?
and b) we finally had enough of getting selfies of us in beautiful places to produce or just one of us in the picture is on it because the other has to photograph it yes
and c) were we not only come to Iceland for our „company vacation“ but also to work, why not even change roles and become photographers models? Especially since our own wedding photos no more professional couple photos have been created by us
And so it came to the same „five“ very different photo shoots – you see we have licked blood – only 2 of them were planned in the beginning, the others have somehow surrendered on the way to Iceland and even if we were a bit overwhelmed by the whole that it is so „degenerate“ we are now in Nachhineau very happy and grateful for wonderful photos in the wonderful scenery of Iceland.
In addition, it was very interesting for us to experience our „professional colleagues“ up close, to compare their tricks, their approach and how we deal with them „models“ and this with our way of thinking – inevitably – and once again to learn something new and unknown to experience. Of course, we were particularly curious about the respective results – just like you have since when you experienced us at a photo shoot or at your wedding and then you can not quite imagine exactly what „will come out in the end“ and what you as results be received by us. It was just the same for us, and that too was a very exciting experience.
